Severely sprained wrist suffered at Orlando Supercross sidelines
the SoCal flyer; hopes to return for Pontiac, Mich., Supercross next weekend
CARLSBAD, Calif., (April 2, 2005) – Monster Energy/Pro
Circuit/Kawasaki’s Sean Hamblin will not race this weekend in Dallas – Round 12
of the 2005 THQ/AMA Supercross Series - citing a severely sprained wrist as the
reason.
“I rode yesterday at Cahuilla Creek (Calif.) and it (the wrist) felt pretty
good, except for on the landings,” said Hamblin. “So I decided to take this
weekend off, then finish the season strong – hopefully starting with Pontiac
(Mich.).”
Hamblin injured his clutch (left) hand in a lap five accident at Orlando two
weeks ago. He was racing in 8th place at the time of the accident.
In addition to Monster Energy Drinks, Pro Circuit and Kawasaki, Hamblin is
proud to run the following products: Fleetwood RV, Scion of El Cajon, Lost,
DNA, Alloy, Six Six One, Shoei, Spy, ONE, Tag Metals, Dunlop, Pro X, Works
Connection, UFO, Twin Air, Hinson, Maxima, VP, V-Force, Sunline ARC, Motion
Pro, Braking, Excel and RK.
